cold in california

yes, california does get cold. right now, at 10.00 pm it is 13 degrees and dropping. hard to get motivated to do anything outside when it is this cold. a warm blanket, cup of hot coffee and a good book sounds much better than going outside to do laundry, or like tomorrow, walking to work at 6.00 am. going grocery shopping is not on the top of the to do list either.
i dont mind cold, i prefer it over hot, but this single digit stuff is for the birds, penguins.....
